Prison Break is a TV drama created by Paul Scheuring. The series began in August 2005 and ended after four seasons in April 2009.

Prison Break follows the story of two brothers where Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) was falsely accursed and sentenced to death. In an act to save his brother, Michael Scofield played by actor Wentworth Miller, attempts to plan a epic escape from prison. As the Prison Break series unfolds, complex story lines develop about government corruption and new characters are introduced throughout the series.

The show gained massive popularity with fans over the world, winning several awards including the 2006 People's Choice Award and the show was also nominated in the 2005 Golden Globes as the one of the new and best television series drama for the year.
